My baby is TWO! Jonah is so stinking cute and funny. He's starting to talk. He started saying "sure" the other day, which for some reason just cracked me up. He sounded like a such a big boy. He was saying night-night, but now he just says bye-bye at bedtime, which is maybe even cuter.
His favorite toys are anything with wheels. If he can't find something with wheels, he will find something round and push it around and pretend it's a wheel. Seriously. I've seen him do with Abbie's bracelets. He likes bikes, scooters, skateboards, cars, anything with wheels.
He's also started giving really good, squeezy hugs lately. That makes me happy. And he has a new obsession with Elmo. He won't just sit and watch Sesame Street though, because he doesn't like any of the others - just
Elmo. So he watches the same Elmo's World DVD about 3 times a day. But whatever. I can now (usually) cook or wash the dishes without him screaming and trying to push me away from the counter. So it's totally worth it.
He still loves his blankie and still sticks two fingers in his mouth as soon as he grabs it.
He definitely has his days of acting very two, as my sister calls it, but for the most part he is a sweet, happy, funny little guy, and I am so, so, so glad that I get to be his mommy.
We took him out last Friday for a little photoshoot. Photographing two-year-olds is hard. Photographing your own two-year-old is about a hundred times harder. But I did it (with lots of help from my awesome husband) and I love, love, love the photos.
