This is Our Life - week 43 {Terre Haute lifestyle photographer}
This is week 42 for the This is Our Life project and the theme is "give."
The most important thing we can give our kids is our time...time to hang out, time to teach them, time to help them, time to play, time to learn from them, and time to just be together, doing whatever. I hope they see God's love through us, and they learn compassion and diligence, and patience, and faithfulness and that they learn all they need to know to go out in the world. I hope they see in us an example of a happy and love-filled marriage and they have that in their own lives when they're grown up. I hope they have lots of happy memories from their childhood. None of that can happen without us investing our time with them. Sometimes I need that reminder to step away from the computer, or turn off the TV, or put down the phone, and just be with them. Everything else can wait.
