Sorry not sorry for the total photo overload in this post! This wedding was so gorgeous it was pretty much impossible to narrow down which ones I wanted to share. So grab a snack (and maybe a tissue), settle in, and check out this beautiful wedding story!
I have known Jayde since she was a little girl and it was a little surreal to see her as a bride! I am so happy for her and Jake! They are so perfect for each other and I loved being able to capture this day for them!
Their wedding day was a beautiful fall day, just a little chill in the air, and The Sycamore Winery was a gorgeous setting!
I'm sharing way more detail photos than I usually share just because it was all so pretty! Yes, all the sweet moments are what I love capturing the most, but details like this are also so much fun!
This cake was so perfect...and so yummy!
Aren't her rings gorgeous?!?
Check out those beautiful necklaces below. The shorter one belongs to Jayde's grandma and the longer one was made from the first pair of earrings her dad bought her mom (and her mom wore a matching necklace!). I love when I get to hear the stories about details like this!
Jayde seriously had the best friends by her side on her wedding day! One of them looked so familiar to me but I didn't figure out till later that night that she was in another wedding I photographed a couple of years ago! So fun! Emma, you were a fabulous bridesmaid in both weddings! And that beautiful girl all the way on the left in the photo below? I get to photograph her wedding (to Jayde's brother!) next year. I'm so excited!
These might just be my favorite "look at your dress" photos ever - especially the one with her mom Racheal looking on!
The flower girl insisted that we all smell the rose petals!
Jayde was a beautiful bride! Absolutely stunning. And that dress?!?! Definitely one of my all-time favorites!
It was a little tricky getting to this spot because of all the mud, but I'm so glad we made the effort (and so glad no one got mud on their dress!) Thanks for being awesome, girls!
So, Jayde's dress was amazing, but I think Racheal's dress deserves some love too! Also one of my favorites that I've seen.
One of my favorite things about late fall and winter? Due to the sun's position, you can find gorgeous backlighting even in the early afternoon! I adore this classic black and white image of Jayde and her bridesmaids!
This was such a beautiful setting for portraits!
Jake is a super sweet guy. He is absolutely perfect for Jayde, and so fun to be around.
Jayde and Jake chose to do a first look and I'm so glad they did! Look how sweet it was!
I love this photo below! Definitely one of my favorites from this day! I almost didn't include it in their gallery because Jake's jacket is a little messed up in the back. I showed it to my husband and he just shrugged and said "It's ok. Life's not perfect." And he's right - life is not perfect, but it's still beautiful! So I went ahead and included it and I hope they love it as much as I do!
They had such great people by their side! This was a really great group!
Their fur baby Charlotte was not included in the actual ceremony, but they did want a few photos with her so they had a cousin bring her for a few minutes after their first look. I'm so glad it worked out for them to get these photos!
The guest book attendant and ring bearer were the cutest!
Some of my favorite moments of every wedding happen in the time right before the ceremony - everyone is so excited!
I adore these stairs! I have another wedding here next summer and I'm already planning out some photos to take here!
I always love watching the groom wait for his bride!
I love this one on the left below! Look at the way she's looking at Jake! So sweet!
Neither Jayde nor Jake are crazy about talking much in front of a crowd, so they asked to say as few words as possible! It was a very sweet ceremony, officiated by my dad! He's been Jayde's pastor since she was a little girl and I know he was so happy to officiate this wedding!
I love that they "planted" a tree together during their ceremony. Where was this idea when I got married?!? The one thing I would change about my wedding is that I wish we would have known about either this or the cord of three strands.
I don't usually include family photos in wedding blog posts, but I just love the way they're looking at each other!
OK, this might just be my favorite wedding family photo ever - look how Jake is holding Jayde's Grammy's hand!!
I pulled Jayde and Jake aside for just a few minutes right before the reception for a few photos in the gorgeous evening light! This is another fave!
The reception was gorgeous and so much fun, and the food was fabulous!
I always love the toasts and these were about as perfect as they come!
Such a sweet first dance!
Ok, I was almost in tears myself here. And I'm not really much of a crier.
Jayde with her grandpa and brother, and Jake with Jayde's Grammy...cue all the tears!
I love watching kids at weddings! Especially on the dance floor!
I have photographed plenty of weddings where the dance floor remained empty for much of the time. This was not a problem at this wedding!
I adore these two! Can't wait for their wedding next year!
